Astro AWANI shines with five wins at MPRA 2024

KUALA LUMPUR : Astro AWANI excels after winning five awards at the Malaysia Public Relations Awards 2024 in Kuala Lumpur on Friday night.

The victories were achieved in the media category - Coverage of Issues and Crises (Broadcast Media), with Astro AWANI securing all gold, silver, and bronze awards.

A television coverage titled Pulau Haba, Kemelut Iklim Yang Kian Mencengkam Kuala Lumpur won the gold award in this category.

In the same category, a special television report titled Hari Harimau Sedunia won the silver award, while the bronze award went to the television coverage Hentian Duta, Adakah Akan Senasib Seperti Hentian Puduraya?

For the Corporate Social Responsibility (Broadcast Media) category, a special television report titled PHD Dari Tirai Besi emerged victorious, earning the gold award. Meanwhile, another special television report, Warga Emas Daif Tinggal Sendirian, won the silver award.

Apart from media awards, Astro also won two awards in the categories of Product Launch (gold) and Consumer Launch (bronze).

Among the distinguished guests present was the Mayor of Kuala Lumpur, Datuk Seri Maimunah Mohd Shariff.

This annual event took place at a hotel in the capital city and was attended by approximately 500 media practitioners and professionals from various public relations agencies.
