Astro Kasih: Non-stop diving and garbage collection
The main aspects in creating a Guinness World Record are non-stop diving and collection of garbage to ensure the 168-hour longest sea cleanup Astro Kasih programme achieves its target.
In order to record the world record, the process is being monitored by a selected group of witnesses to ensure every regulation is followed properly.
According to the terms of Guinness World Record, at least one diver has to be in the sea floor at all time and every diver must collect at least one garbage to set the world record.
Just like the divers, witnesses also need to take turns watching the sea cleaning process to make sure both of the requirements are followed.
A total of 13 witnesses are monitoring the attempt to create a Guinness World Record through the Astro Kasih program, the longest sea cleanup for 168 hours at Tunku Abdul Rahman Marin Park, Sabah.
Meanwhile, other support systems as well as equipment the team also present 24 hours to ensure Astro Kasih longest undersea cleaning process runs smoothly.
The team ensures that the diver’s equipment are ready for use as part of the 168 hours Guinness World Record mission.
