Astro legal team bags ALB award

Astro Malaysia Holdings Berhad’s legal team recently bagged a prestigious award at the Asian Legal Business (ALB) Malaysia Law Awards 2015.

The team, which competed against big names including Telekom Malaysia and Hewlett Packard (HP), took home the 'Technology, Media and Telecommunications In-House Team of The Year Award'.

This year's awards saw the participation of international law firms and foreign lawyers in the nominations, which showcased some of the best legal minds from different practical orientations.

Astro Malaysia Holdings Berhad’s legal head, Hoh Hon Piao, said the win was possible because of his team.

"Their great teamwork and hard work to structure new deals to bring the best content and technology to consumers in Malaysia made this possible," he said.

This is the second time the event was held after its maiden one last year brought much success.
