Astro Radio remains Malaysia's number one choice

Astro Radio once again emerged Malaysia’s most popular radio network in the latest Nielsen Radio Listenership Survey.
Nielsen Radio Audience Measurement (RAM) showed that 52.7 percent of Malaysians tune in to Astro Radio stations on a weekly basis, according to a statement released by the company today.
Astro Radio dominated the rankings with its top three radio brands namely ERA fm, Sinar FM followed by THR (Raaga and Gegar combined).
ERA fm, hitz fm, MY FM and THR Raaga continue to solidify their positions as the country's respective language radio station while THR Gegar retained its position as the No.1 station in East Coast.
“We now have 12.8 million listeners accumulatively on our platform, with the top Breakfast and Drive shows in the country to entertain Malaysians,” said Jake Abdullah, Chief Executive Officer of Astro Radio.
2.6 million listeners tune into JoHaRa Pagi ERA with Johan, Haniff and Ray while 2.5 million other listeners tune into ERA’s Drive show, SATE with Shahrol, Dina and Tauke.
MY FM has retained its position with as the country's number one Chinese station with two million Chinese listeners.

He added that Radio Astro will continue to ensure its 360 integrated multi-platform branded content solutions remains appealing and relevant to Malaysians.
