A problem with the audio system made covering the Dewan Rakyat sitting today an arduous task for the the media.
Media personnel at the media centre had a difficult time covering the session as the audio from the television sets made available for the live feed of the proceedings could not be heard properly.
Most were forced to follow the session using live streaming by Radio Television Malaysia (RTM).
The media complained about the matter to Works Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof when he visited the media centre in the afternoon.
He said the problem, which also affected the lobby and several other places, was caused by the audio controller, and would be solved tomorrow.
The upgrading and renovation process of the Parliament Building by the Public Work Department is ongoing.
The Dewan Rakyat sitting this time is for 20 days until April 6 while the Dewan Negara sits from April 17 to 27. -- Bernama
