The Australian government's travel advisory to its citizens who wished to visit Malaysia, served only as a caution to remain vigilant, and does not have any negative impact on tourist arrivals.
Tourism and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Nazri Abdul Aziz said the announcement did not restrict tourists from Australia from coming here and the entire world was currently vulnerable to terrorist threats.
"All countries are currently exposed to threats of the Daesh terrorists not only in Malaysia. It is a common practice for a country to issue a warning alert to its citizens who want to travel to other countries.
