Australian actress Eliza Szonert has yet to hand over her son to her former partner, Ashley Crick, despite his obtaining full legal custody of the boy.
A lawyer representing Crick, 43, said today that by virtue of an Australian court order issued on Dec 24, his client who lived in Mont Kiara here, obtained full legal custody of his son.
Lawyer M. V. Kumar told Bernama today that the order compelled Szonert, 41, to hand over the boy to Crick, which she had failed to do.
"According to Crick, the mother has refused to answer calls from him and this has made him even more distraught.
"Crick has told me that he is saddened that he was unable to spend Christmas with his son and the boy's (seventh) birthday which falls today," he said.
Kumar said his client lodged a report at the Jalan Travers police station last Saturday.
Szonert was reported to have abducted her son from Crick at a shopping mall here on Dec 10.
She was detained on Dec 21 after Crick lodged a police report, but was released on Dec 23.
