Avignon shooting: No Malaysians affected

The Foreign Ministry has confirmed that no Malaysians were affected in a shooting in Avignon, southern France, on Sunday.
Wisma Putra in a statement Tuesday said Malaysians who required consular assistance were encouraged to reach out to the Embassy of Malaysia in Paris at 2 Bis Rue Benouville, 75116 Paris, France or contact: +33145531185 or email [email protected].
It was reported that eight people were injured in the shooting, which occurred outside Arrahma Mosque in the southern France city at 10.30pm, Sunday.
The Foreign Ministry also conveyed its deepest sympathy to the victims of the incident .
