AXA introduces a brand new insurance especially for ladies

“We recognise the contribution of women to corporate Malaysia and entrepreneurism. They lead busy lifestyles and are often on-the-road for both business and family reasons. We designed this plan for female drivers, so that in the case of a road accident, they won’t have to worry about the major inconveniences like towing or repairs; and also they can be assured of their personal safety when stranded on the road. We want to provide them with the convenience and safety in these situations, to enable them to get on with their busy schedules,” said Emmanuel Nivet, CEO of AXA Affin GI. With the convenience and safety needs of women drivers in mind, AXA has created the insurance with three key highlights in mind. For example, in the event of a breakdown AXA Motor For Her policy holders will be offered a free ride to their next destination from the scene of the breakdown to ensure they arrive safely and with minimal delay.

Another highlight will see the lady’s vehicle delivered all the way to her doorstep when repairs have been completed. This will reduce one massive hassle for the busy entrepreneur and minimise inconveniences of having to collect their car at the workshop.

If the policy holder also opts for the Driver Passenger Personal Accident insurance plan, the AXA Motor For Her plan will also cover car window snatch theft for free. Additional benefits include assistance and guidance from AXA’s panel workshop for the insured on the steps or if the insured needs to make a police report in the event of an accident. In conjunction with the launch of the AXA Motor For Her plan, AXA Affin GI organised the AXA Motor For Her Personal Growth and Safety seminar. The seminar covers areas of female entrepreneurship and safety aspects with guest speakers like Mdm Low Ngai Yuen, President of WOMENgirls and kakiseni and Mr Eddie Lim Yit Min, Taekwondo Gold medallist in the Vietnam 2003 SEA Games who headed the Personal Safety For Women Demo.

The audience were also treated to a safety awareness demo on how to avoid car window snatch thefts as well as self-defence and weapons training demonstration to teach the ladies how to use daily items like car keys and umbrellas to protect themselves against potential crimes.
