Ayob Khan appointed principal assistant director of Counter Terrorism

The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) on Tuesday announced promotions/transfers involving six of its senior officers. The appointments are effective Aug 11.
PDRM corporate communications head, ACP Datin Asmawati Ahmad in a statement here on Monday said assistant director of Counter Terrorism, Special Branch (E8), Bukit Aman (Federal police headquarters), SAC Datuk Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay was promoted to principal assistant director of E8 with the rank of acting Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP).
Penang deputy police chief Datuk A. Thaiveegan takes over as deputy director, Bukit Aman CID, replacing Datuk Tajudin Md Isa who has been appointed as the head of Research and Development at the Inspector-General of Police Secretariat, Bukit Aman.
Bukit Aman Management Department Human Resource Policy Division assistant director (Planning and Strategic Policies Development) ACP Dr Mustafa Khan Abdul Samat has been appointed as Head of the Science Management Studies Centre, PDRM College, Kuala Lumpur with the rank of acting Senior Assistant Commissioner (SAC).
Meanwhile, Terengganu CID chief, Supt Koh Ah Tiam has been appointed as principal assistant director (Operations/Technical Support) CID, Bukit Aman.
Supt Noor Sham Md Jani from the Helicopter Flights Section (2), Air Wing, Internal Security and Public Order Department (KDN/KA), Bukit Aman has been appointed as deputy commander (Operations) of the wing with the rank of acting Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP).
