KUALA LUMPUR: International Trade and Industry Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali failed to defend the Gombak parliamentary seat in the 15th general election (GE15) after losing to Selangor Chief Minister Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari.
Environment and Water Minister Datuk Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man also won the Kubang Kerian parliamentary seat in Kelantan while Barisan Nasional (BN) deputy chairman Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan won in Rembau, Negeri Sembilan.
Sabah deputy chief minister and state BN chairman Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin also retained the Kinabatangan parliamentary seat.
