Bad weather forces MAS plane to divert

The flight was diverted due to bad weather, official said.
Bad weather forced Malaysia Airlines MH2604 flight from Kuala Lumpur to Kota Kinabalu to be diverted to Miri Airport today, the New Straits Times reported.
Malaysian Airport Holding Berhad authority who confirmed this, said it was a normal diversion.
She also said that it was the bad weather that had caused the flight which departed from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport at 7.30am to be diverted.
The flight was scheduled to land at the Kota Kinabalu International Airport at 10.05am.
Beluran MP, Datuk Ronald Kiandee had also tweeted about the incident.
