At least 21 people were killed, including foreigners and dozens injured when a bomb exploded Monday outside a religious shrine popular with tourists in the Thai capital, scattering body parts and debris.
According to Thai police, the blast occurred at around 7pm local time (8pm Malaysian time).
More than a 100 were injured as the blast left body parts strewn across crushed pavement, alongside shattered windows and incinerated motorcycles.
Thai Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-ocha said on Tuesday that authorities were looking for a "suspect" seen on closed-circuit television (CCTV) footages near the site of the bomb blast that killed 22 people, including eight foreigners.
"I have ordered the cameras be checked because there is one suspect, but it is not clear who he is," Prayuth told reporters at Bangkok's Government House.
