Bangkok blast: Two Malaysians killed identified as mother and son

The two Malaysians killed in the Bangkok blast yesterday have been identified as Lim Saw Gek and her son Neoh Jai Jun, Wisma Putra confirmed.
The bodies of the victims are currently at the Police General Hospital in Bangkok for post mortem.
Meanwhile, Wisma Putra in a statement said one of the Malaysian injured, Tan Rui Hun is currently admitted to Hua Chiew Hospital for treatment while another injured Malaysian, Tan Kim Siok has been discharged.
"The Malaysian embassy in Bangkok is in close contact with the local authorities in rendering necessary consular assistance towards the victims and their families who was involved in the incident," it said in a statement.
"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs would like to convey our deepest condolences and sympathy to the victims and their families involved in the incident," the statement read.
Body parts were scattered across the street after a bomb went off outside the Erawan Shrine in the downtown Chidlom district of the Thai capital.
China's official Xinhua news agency said Monday that two Chinese nationals had died, while the governments of Singapore and Taiwan reported that some of their citizens were injured.
The attack drew quick expressions of grief from around the world, with UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon's office releasing a statement saying he was shocked.
