BAT Malaysia to increase cigarette prices effective Monday

British American Tobacco Malaysia (BAT Malaysia) will increase the prices of all its cigarette brands effective tomorrow, June 29, 2015.

"The price revision today is to take into account the Goods and Services Tax. The company has been absorbing the GST subsequent to its implementation on April 1, 2015," managing director of BAT Malaysia, Stefano Clini, said in a statement here today.

The revised cigarette prices are: Dunhill (RM13.80), Kent (RM13.80), Benson & Hedges (RM13.80), Peter Stuyvesant (RM12.30), Pall Mall (RM12.30) and Lucky Strike Plain (RM14.30).
