Beauty salon operator shot dead in Serdang

A beauty salon operator was shot dead at close range outside his shop in Jalan Pinggiran Putra 25, Seri Kembangan, Serdang, near here, this evening.

Serdang police chief ACP Abdul Razak Elias said, Edisson S. Pillai, 37, was shot by a masked man at 6pm. "The victim, who was shot once on the forehead and thrice on the body, died on the spot," he told reporters when met at the scene of the shooting.

He said, the case was investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code and the motive of the killing was still being investigated.
