Bentley Bentayga revealed!

Bentley will be officially introducing their first ever SUV, the Bentley Bentayga, at the IAA Frankfurt Show happening next week! Here are some things you should know about this new premium SUV.

The Bentayga is a fully capable off-roader coming complete with state-of-the-art drivers’ assistance systems for enhanced safety and comfort with a wide range of on- and off-road driver settings adjusted via a simple turn of a dial.
Bentley has made sure to give the Bentayga the trademark Bentley features such as the large matrix grille and B-shaped wing vents to match with the ultra-sharp Bentley power line and muscular rear haunch display.
Bentley designers have integrated a stylish skid plate into the lower section of the front bumper to emphasise the SUV’s go-anywhere ability.
The advanced design, innovative engineering and state-of-the-art manufacturing technologies including the use of lightweight aluminium has allowed engineers to save up to 236kg!

Standard features include a panoramic glass roof, aluminium roof rails that combines two finishes and a new range of bespoke Bentayga alloy wheels ranging in size from 20-inch to 22-inch.
The heart of the Bentayga is the new Crewe-built W12 TSI engine. A 6.0-litre twin turbo engine that develops 600bhp at 6000rpm and 900Nm from 1250rpm to 4500rpm. When mated to an eight-speed gearbox, the Bentayga powers itself to 100kph in 4.1 seconds and a top speed of 301kph.
Efficiency figure is recorded at 292g/km CO2 thanks to Bentley’s Variable Displacement system which shuts down half of the engine under defined conditions.
A world’s first electric active roll control technology that utilises an unrivalled 48V system known as the Bentley Dynamic Ride is available in the Bentayga. This system counteracts lateral rolling forces when cornering to ensure maximum tyre contact to give the car perfect stability.
The Bentayga can also be submitted to the Bentley Personalisation Options and Mulliner Bespoke. Owners have a choice to pick from up to 17 exterior paint colours with up to 90 hues available in the extended range to 15 interior trim hide.
