There is a change in personnel at the design department in Bentley.
Bentley welcomed Stefan Sielaff who will be taking on a brand new role in the VW Group. Sielaff will be coming on board as the new Director of Design taking over the role Luc Donckerwolke has vacated.
Sielaff has a long history with the VW group, he started as an intern more than 25 years ago with Audi. He later returned to the company as Design Director in 2006 and led a team of over 350 design experts who are responsible for the exterior, interior and colour and trim design for the full Audi product portfolio, concept and show cars.
Chairman and CEO at Bentley Motors, Wolfgang Durheimer hopes that Sielaff will bring with him his experience and creative vision for significant plans for the brand’s new models as Bentley is entering one of the most important phases in the company’s history.
Stefan Sielaff will continue to maintain his position as Head of Volkswagen Group Interior Design and Design Director at VW Design Centre Potsdam as well at the same time. Is this a sign that Bentley has more than just an SUV in their plans? Perhaps we’ll be seeing a few more stylish looking hatchbacks in their repertoire!
