BKE tragedy: Remains of accident victim in Singapore arrive in JB

The remains of the late Loke Whay Mam, who was killed in an accident at the Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE), Singapore, yesterday evening, arrived here today.
The remains of the victim was temporarily placed at the Tiong Hua Federation Mortuary, at Jalan Ulu Air Molek, here around 5.40pm for funeral preparations.
The accident involving nine motorcycles and a van occurred around 3.30pm at BKE, towards Woodlands, after an exit at the Seletar Expressway.
In the incident, Loke, 50, and Lim Chun Hong, 34, were killed as they sought shelter from the rain under a flyover.
Meanwhile, six other Malaysian motorcyclists who sustained head and body injuries were treated at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital in Yishun.
The remains of the victims were claimed by their families early this morning from the Singapore General Hospital. - BERNAMA
