Blake Lively Is Immortal

It's true the costumes are stunning, which is helpful considering the plot of the Lee Toland Krieger-directed film is rather peculiar and outlandish: the film stars Blake Lively as a woman who suffers a near-fatal accident in the 1930s that renders her immortal (sounds slightly absurd right?), a preternaturally attractive woman ceases aging and goes on to have a fling with Harrison Ford and a bunch of other men while figuratively running from the law and literally running from obligation and commitments.

Lively’s character embarks on an epic, lonely journey, keeping her secret, but must watch her own daughter grow old (Ellen Burstyn) as she is forced to incessantly strike up relationships and then quickly cut ties. All we know is that we love the vintage outfits, and that is enough to get us to the movies!
