Neither Malaysia nor the report released by the Dutch Safety Board apportioned blame for the downing of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17 in eastern Ukraine in July last year, said Transport Minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai.
He said neither Malaysia nor the report apportioned blame on whether Russia or any separatist group was involved in the criminal activity.
"I do not see any accusation, whatsoever on Russia, in this case," he told reporters after the Asian Political Parties' Special Conference on Silk Road closing ceremony here today.
Liow said whatever inputs from parties would be taken into consideration by the technical investigators.
Russian Ambassador to Malaysia, Valery N Yermolov yesterday told Malaysia to stop pointing fingers at who was to blame for the shooting down of Flight MH17 on July 17 while enroute from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur over Ukrainian territory.
