BMW Group Malaysia issues statement on this morning's car fire incident
As reported on the news, a previous generation BMW caught fire at the Sprint Expressway Toll in the early hours of the 29th of March 2016 with one reported fatality. Following the news, Mr Hang Sang Yun, Managing Director and CEO of BMW Group Malaysia has released a statement regarding the incident:
“This is a very unfortunate incident and we are really saddened with what has happened. We sympathise with the victim and the family members affected by the incident.”
The cause of the fire is still not clear, but BMW Group Malaysia will be offering their expertise, cooperation and assistance to the Selangor Fire and Rescue Department as well as the other related authorities to investigate the incident.
BMW Malaysia and CAR Malaysia offers up our condolences to the victim and his family.
