BMW Group Malaysia opens a brand new 4S centre

BMW Group Malaysia, along with the help of partners Wheelcorp Premium has officially opened the doors to the newest BMW and Mini 4S facility in Setia Alam. The new facility will provide the group’s extensive sales, service, spare parts and systems offerings to owners of Setia Alam and Klang areas.

According the Mr Alan Harris, Managing Director and CEO of BMW Group Malaysia, the opening of the 4S dealership in 2012 in Setia Alam had showed them that the area along with the Klang area has market potential of delivering 500 premium vehicles annually. He hopes that with the establishment of a bigger and better 4S centre, the group will be able to meet the demand yearly.

The four storey dealership occupies a total built-up space of approximately 107,500 square feet on a 1.1 acre land and will also feature BMW Premium Selection unit, the pre-owned car business of BMW Group, as well as a Body and Paint Repair facility. The sales floor on the ground floor is capable of displaying up to 12 units of new BMW vehicles and four new Mini models along with dedicated BMW and Mini Lifestyle Collection areas.

Owners and customers alike will be able to easily access the first floor via a set of stairs that links the two floors. The first floor will be where the BMW Premium Selection area is located and has the capacity to display up to 30 vehicles at any one time and accommodates the BMW Isetta bar café and waiting area for owners. The M Performance display area will also be situated on the first floor displaying two vehicles as well as BMW M Performance parts and accessories.

Also on the ground floor, the service centre in the back spans 13,000 square feet and houses 15 service bays. The building is equipped with two service lifts large enough to fit a car to transport cars to the second floor, a stock holding area capable of housing over 80 cars, and the third floor where 22,000 square feet Body and Paint repair paint shop is situated.

A total of 50 employees, including sales personnel and service specialists, reports to work in the new Wheelcorp Premium BMW and Mini 4S dealership that is fashioned according to the brand’s newest brand identities and furniture.

The new dealership is situated at No. 1, Jalan Setia Murni AH, U13/AH, Setia Alam, Seksyen U13, 40170 Shah Alam, Selangor and is already all geared up to deliver the premium promise behind the ownership of a vehicle from the BMW Group.
