The People's Progressive Party (PPP) has urged Barisan Nasional (BN) component parties to remain united to ensure political stability in this country.
Its president, Datuk Seri M.Kayveas said the hudud law issue should not be blown up as it could disrupt the unity within BN.
"It is a Pakatan Rakyat problem and they should fix it," he said when opening the Setiawangsa PPP Division office, here on Saturday night.
Also present were PPP vice-president Datuk Dr Loga Bala Mohan, who is also the Deputy Minister of Federal Territories, and Setiawangsa Member of Parliament, Datuk Ahmad Fauzi Zahari.
The hudud law issue resurfaced after the Kelantan government wanted to implement it via a private member's bill in parliament next month.
However, PAS' plan was opposed by the DAP which claimed that implementation of hudud law was not agreed upon by the PAS-DAP-PKR alliance.
