PANGKOR: Barisan Nasional (BN) has always taken a moderate approach in making any preparations for the election, said its secretary-general, Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abd Kadir.
"We always take a moderate approach, be prudent and always careful so that we can face the election well," he added.
He said this when met at the High Profile Policing (HPP) and Community Cycling programme which was officiated by Perak Police Chief Datuk Mior Faridalathrash Wahid.
Zambry, who is also the Pangkor Assemblyman, said BN was now in the process of streamlining its machinery for any election to come.
"If there's an announcement for any state election, we, at the BN level, are prepared. We have proven during the Melaka state election, we were prepared and it yielded good results and coordination at the state BN level," he added.
