The Barisan Nasional campaign has been well received in opposition strongholds which are so-called "black areas", said PBB deputy president Datuk Amar Abang Johari Tun Openg.
"We are giving them a really tough fight," he said after handing over land titles to 120 residents of Kampung Senari here on Thursday.
However, he said BN was remaining vigilant on last-minute tactics by the opposition before the deadline for campaiging ends at midnight tonight.
Earlier, in his speech, Abang Johari, who Sarawak Housing and Tourism Minister, reminded the residents to give their full support to BN so that their rights, especially on land matters continue to be protected.
He said the land titles was an initiative by the goverment to ensure the people of Sarawak owned assets and hoped they would not sell them for short-term gains.
