Body of army corporal found at Pulau Perak waters

The Army Headquarters confirmed that the body recovered by the Special Naval Force (Paskal) about 30 metres from Pulau Perak, at 10.40am, was one of the members of the Fourth Battalion Royal Ranger Regiment army who went missing since Monday after falling into the sea, Corporal Mohd Faizol Rosli, 29.
The victim's body was identified from the uniform worn on his last day of duty.
According to a statement from the Army Headquarters today, the body was boarded on the naval ship, KD Mahawangsa, at 11.44am today, and sent to the Royal Malaysian Air force base in Butterworth, using a Fennec aircraft.
The body was then sent to the Seberang Jaya Hospital in Penang for post mortem and is expected to be buried at Kupang, Baling this evening.
The search mission for the other victim, Corporal Johbartlee Kanil, 32, is still ongoing.
In an incident at 4.40pm on Monday evening, Mohd Faizol, from Kampung Sungai Limau of Pulai, Baling, and Johbartlee from Sabah, were reported to have fallen into the sea while collecting water.
Both were based in Oran, Perlis and on a month-long operation on the island. - Bernama
