Body covered with canvas found in Jalan Ipoh

The body of a man was found in a drain at the Batu 6.5 Jalan Ipoh, near the exit road to Pasar Borong here last night. The deceased was identified as Ahmad Zaini Ishak, 40, from Tanah Merah, Kelantan. Sentul police chief ACP R. Munusamy said the drug addict was found covered with canvas when passers-by stumbled on the body about 11.30pm. "According to online police information, the man had three previous convictions for drugs and crime," he said in a statement here today. He said the body was sent to the Selayang Hospital and the case was classified as sudden death.
