Body of foreigner found behind business complex

The body of an unidentified man, believed to be a foreigner, was found under a blanket behind Taman Bersatu Business Complex at Jalan Batas Paip, Kuala Kedah, this morning.
Passers-by found the body, believed of a Myanmar national, aged between 25 and 30, at around 8.30 am.
Speaking to reporters here, Kedah CID chief ACP Nashir Ya said initial investigations revealed that the victim, clad only in a sarong, had injury marks on his left rib and thigh.
"We suspect that the victim died elsewhere before his body was dumped at the scene. The time of death is believed to be less than 24 hours.
"Neither a weapon nor a sign of struggle was found at the scene," he said, adding that further investigations were being done.
