Body found floating in Sungai Banggu

He was discovered by three children who had wanted to go fishing in the area.

Police believe the man, whose body was found face down, had died more than four days ago.

The victim’s mother, who was at the scene of the incident, identified the man as her 18-year-old son, Mohd Adam Hakim Rozemi from Kampung Jejuluk, Bangu, Kota Baharu based on the clothes and the watch he was wearing.

She said her son had not returned home since Feb 4. The family were on their way to make a police report on his disappearance before being informed of the news.
