Body of man found behind temple in Bandar Baru Kundang, Rawang

The body of a local man was found lying down on the ground behind a temple in Bandar Baru Kundang, Rawang, here yesterday.

Gombak District Police Chief, ACP Ali Ahmad said the police received a call from a member of the public who came across the nude body of the 39-year-old man at 2pm.

"An investigation revealed there were injury marks on the ankles and right hand as well as the face. The incident was believed to have occurred within 12 hours of the discovery," he said in a statement.

He added that the motive for the killing was still being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.

The body has been sent to the Sungai Buloh Hospital for autopsy.
