The body of a man, believed to have been murdered, was found by the roadside at 10th Mile Kampung Melayu Jenderata, here, today.
Hilir Perak district police chief ACP Mohd Shuhaily Mohd Zain said the victim, N. Jayasilan, 42, whose head was covered with blood, was found at about 6.40am Sunday.
"A man who discovered the body notified the Hutan Melintang Police Station. The victim from the area, was clad in a red T-shirt and blue jeans," he said when contacted here today.
No weapons were found at the scene, he said.
Mohd Shuhaily said police believed it was a homicide and are tracking the suspects involved.
