The body of a man who went missing while catching fish off the coast of Morib near here on Tuesday was found washed up on the beach about eight kilometres from the spot he was reported missing.
Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director (operations), Mohd Sani Harul said the remains of Juani Mohd, 61, was found by members of the public at about 12.45pm on the beach near a resort in Morib.
"The body was sent to Banting Hospital for post-mortem," he said in a statement here today.
Mohd Sani added the victim's body was identified by one of his children based on the clothes and shoes wore by the victim as the remains were beyond recognition.
Juani was reported missing on Tuesday when catching fish with his children about one nautical mile from the shore of Morib. - BERNAMA
