The police are in the midst of tracking down a Myanmar national to facilitate investigations into the murder of his Bangladeshi housemate here on Thursday.
Dungun police chief Supt Ahmad Zailani Yaacub said on Friday, the man, in his 30s, had gone into hiding in the district.
He said a police team was scouring Kampung Pelandas in Pulau Serai here for a blunt object which was used to attack the victim, identified only as Hussin, 43.
On Thursday, the labourer's body was found dumped about 10am, in a sewage tank of a house.
