Body with stab wound found in the river

A body of a foreigner in Sungai Ampang, near Bukit Belacan, Ampang, here today.

Ampang Jaya Police Chief ACP Amiruddin Jamaludin said the body of a man, who is believed to be in his 30's, was found by a passer-by at 7.30am.

"There were marks on the body that looked like stab wounds but that is yet to be determined," he said.

According to Amiruddin, the man was only wearing brown pants but no documents were found.

The body was sent to the Universiti Malaya Medical Center for post-mortem.
