Body of a woman found in durian orchard at Bukit Genting

The body of a woman, believed to be a murder victim, was found in a durian orchard near the White Resort National Service Training Camp at Bukit Genting here today. Penang Criminal Investigation Department head SAC Mazlan Kesah said the victim, believed to be in her 20s and with fair skin, had slash wounds on the neck, head and body. She was believed to have been killed elsewhere and the body dumped at the orchard before it was found by a .passer-by at 8.30am., he added. Police had yet to ascertain her identity as no documents was found on her and she had no BCG vaccination mark on her arm, he added He urged those with information on the woman or with missing relative to contact the police. The body had been sent to the Penang Hospital for a post mortem.
