Body of woman found floating off Stulang Laut beach

The body of a woman, believed to be a Chinese national, was found floating off Stulang Laut beach, here, Sunday.

Johor Bahru South district police chief, ACP Sulaiman Salleh said the body was found about 7.30am after receiving information from the public.

"The Johor Bahru South Control Centre received a call about an object that looked like a human body, near Stulang Laut beach.

"A check found the object to be the body of a women in her 50s," he said when contacted, adding that police were in the process of identifying the woman's identity.

At the moment, the death was not linked to any crime and classified as sudden death, he added.
