BR1M 2017 second payment from June 5 - Johari
The BR1M payment will be credited directly into the recipients' account.
Second Finance Minister Datuk Seri Johari Abdul Ghani said the second payment of 1Malaysia People's Aid (BR1M) 2017 will be made from June 5.
The payment in conjunction with Aidilfitri celebration involves BR1M recipients who received the first payment of BR1M 2017. Payment for appeal applicants is expected on June 17.
"The government hopes that BR1M can help the people buy essential items and make preparation for Aidilfitri celebration," he said in a statement.
The BR1M payment will be credited directly into the recipients' account.
For those who do not have an account number, the letters will be mailed directly to the recipients' address and they can cash them at any Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) branch.
