Payment of the 1Malaysia People’s Aid (BR1M) through Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) at its Sabah main branch, and also at the branch in Ranau and Tamparuli has been temporarily postponed due to the earthquake which hit the state today.
BSN, in a statement released here today, said the three branch offices were closed today until a date to be informed later.
"There is no banking operation at the affected branches, and currently, the bank's agents (EB-BSN) in the vicinity are not affected.
"The banking transactions, like withdrawal, payment of utility bills and to open account can be carried out at the nearest BSN EB (electronic banking)," it said.
BSN customers can also carried out transactions online through www.mybsn.com.my.
