Bugaya assemblywoman Manis Muka dies

Manis Muka died this afternoon at the Gleneagles Hospital here where she had been admitted yesterday for kidney problems, said Semporna Parti Warisan Sabah (Warisan) division spokesman.

This was later confirmed by the Media Warisan Semporna’s Facebook page in its latest posting.

"May her soul be placed among the pious and faithful. Our condolences to the family of the deceased, it is hoped that they would be patient in their moment of grief,” said the posting.

In the recent Sabah election, Manis Muka, who was also Semporna Warisan women’s chief, defended the Bugaya state seat with a 6,005-vote majority in a seven-cornered fight.
