Parti Cinta Malaysia (PCM) today launched the party manifesto for the Bukit Gelugor parliamentary by-election that focused on 10 points.
PCM vice President Datuk Huan Cheng Guan said the manifesto themed 'Bersama Kita Majukan Pulau Pinang Ke Hadapan' (Together We Move With Penang Forward) will focus on the development and welfare of the Penangites.
Among the main points in the manifesto is helping low and medium income households to own homes.
Huan said he is determined no to become like Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng who he says always uses the 'lack of funding' excuse to avoid implementing policies.
“I promise to communicate with the federal agencies to bring in more funding to develop Penang, particularly Bukit Gelugor.”
Huan said PCM will also open three service centres in all the state seats under the Bukit Gelugor constituency, namely Seri Delima, Air Itam and Paya Terubong if PCM is given the mandate.
The Bukit Gelugor by-election on May 25 will see a four-cornered fight between Huan, Ramkarpal Singh Deo from DAP and two Independents, Mohamed Nabi Bux Mohd Nabi Abdul Sathar and Abu Backer Sidek Mohamad Zan.
