Bung Mokhtar: Barring Nurul Izzah from entering Sabah a mistake

Kinabatangan MP Datuk Bung Mokhtar on Thursday described the act of barring Lembah Pantai MP, Nurul Izzah Anwar (PKR) from entering Sabah as a ‘mistake’ and a ‘disaster’.

The Barisan Nasional (BN) lawmaker through his Twittter account said he did not understand why Nurul was barred from entering Sabah.

“I don’t understand why Nurul was not allowed to enter Sabah. If this is true, it is a mistake and a disaster,” said Bung in his Tweet.

He also described the act as a mistake that should be corrected.

Responding to a question on Twitter on what would he do if he were the Chief Minister of Sabah, Bung answered, “So sorry...unfortunately I am not the CM.”

Nurul was stopped by the Sabah Immigration Department and ordered to board home, allegedly on the directives of the Chief Minister’s office.

The PKR vice president was on a trip to celebrate Pesta Keamatan with the people of Sabah.
