Buses carrying SEA Games squash players met with accident
Two buses carrying SEA Games squash players from Myanmar, Philippines and Thailand met with an accident early morning today.
Two buses carrying SEA Games squash players from Myanmar, Philippines and Thailand were involved in an accident early Monday morning.
The matter was confirmed by Kuala Lumpur Traffic Chief Asst Comm Mohd Nadzri Hussain.
Kuala Lumpur Traffic’s early report revealed that the accident happened at 7.50am near the Sungai Besi toll heading towards Kesas.
The buses were heading to the Bukit Jalil Stadium from Marriott Putrajaya stadium.
The buses were carrying 13 athletes from Thailand, five atheletes from Philippines and ten atheletes from Myanmar.
The incident was believed to have occurred when one of the buses suddenly hit the brakes to avoid a motorcyclist.
