Car plunges into drain, two men killed

A statement issued by the station stated that it was alerted about the crash at 9.15 am.

"The front part of the Honda Accord car in which the two men were travelling in was crushed and the firemen used special equipment to extricate the victims from the wreckage," it said.

Both victims died at the scene and firemen took 30 minutes to remove their bodies.

One of the victims was identified as R Dhaarnish, 29, while the identity of the other has yet to be ascertained.
