A car repossessor was slashed to death by six assailants at Kampung Air Merah, Batu Gajah here early Friday morning.
In the 2am incident, Wan Ishak Wan Ismail, 48, died at the scene from severe back, leg, and wrist injuries.
Kelantan Deputy Police Chief Senior Assistant Commissioner, Din Ahmad said the masked suspects were armed with machetes.
He added that the suspects have already been identified by police and arrests will be made soon.
Initial investigations revealed that revenge was the motive behind the attack.
The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Malaysian Penal Code.
