A cargo train slipped off the track on Monday, disrupting all of Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) services.
However, KTMB corporate communications manager Siti Badariah Wan Hanafi told Astro AWANI that it was a minor incident and the carriages affected had been put back on track.
Repair work are undergoing while the cause of the 2.30pm incident is still being investigated.
KTMB said it expects delay in services as only one track between the Kuala Lumpur and Putra stations is functioning at the moment.
In the meantime, rail users are advised to take an alternative mode of transportation
KTM Berhad extends its apologies for the inconvenience caused and says it will furnish updates on the situation on its social platforms.
