The action of a newspaper in a neighbouring country which published a cartoon caricature insulting Malaysia is not acceptable, said Deputy Home Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar.
He said the action to ridicule leaders and the people of this country should not have taken place.
"Actually, if we look at what was found in Bukit Wang Burma, Wang Kelian, it did not start from our country because (with) the location of the transit camp, it was easier to enter from that country.
"I see from all indications that were uncovered (in Bukit Wang Burma, Wang Kelian), everything started from there. All the items found at the transit camp such as food, packages, cloths, boxes, even bullet boxes, all were from that country," he said.
He was speaking to reporters after officiating the Allocation Cheque Presentation Ceremony to five Chinese National-Type Schools in the Santubong Parliamentary constituency here Friday night.
Wan Junaidi was commenting on the action of a newspaper in a neighbouring country which published caricatures of a Malaysian police holding a shovel in front of a heap of skeletons.
