Cause To Celebrate
Bringing her signature sense of positivity, generosity and appeal to the table, Kate Hudson will join Michael Kors and Watch Hunger Stop as an advocate to help shape a world with zero hunger by raising awareness and funds for the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP). Philanthropy is also nothing new to Michael Kors, which launched its Watch Hunger Stop campaign back in 2013.
In October 2015, the Golden Globe-winning and Academy Award-nominated actress’ first philanthropic role for Michael Kors was to help launch two limited-edition styles of the Bradshaw watch as part of this year’s Watch Hunger Stop campaign. Every sale of one of these distinctive styles, named the Bradshaw 100, will support 100 children in need to receive a nutritious meal through WFP’s School Meals programme. The watches are available exclusively in Michael Kors stores worldwide and on michaelkors.com in the U.S.
To intensify the message of the campaign and reach a broader audience, the brand is releasing a video featuring stunning models Lily Aldridge, Candice Swanepoel and Liu Wen wearing Watch Hunger Stop T-shirts. In addition, there is also an in-store donation programme throughout the month of October, permitting store visitors to donate to WFP.
Since launching in 2013, the Michael Kors Watch Hunger Stop campaign has already helped WFP deliver over 10 million meals to families in need.
