Starlets are just like us when it comes to lusting over a pair of heels or drooling over that new limited edition sneakers or hoarding (or I like to call it “collecting”) mountains of stilettos for our “archive”. But, when it comes to spring trends we have a list of celebrities that are making a killing in the shoe department. We take some pointers from these fashion trendsetters and get inspired by their kicks.

Taylor Swift wore a fuchsia Giuseppe Zanotti heel to the Grammy Awards. The right amount of colour paired with a gorgeous teal dress by Elie Saab. It’s vibrant and just in time for spring – you’ll definitely make a statement in these bold heels.

Olivia Munn has her jet-setting style down pat, landing in LAX in red-accented black kicks that she styled with a simple white top and denim skinny jeans with a checked blazer casually draped casually over her shoulders.

Gwen Stefani wore a beautiful Atelier Versace jumpsuit, accessorized with Christian Louboutin “Top Vague” pumps and Lorraine Schwartz jewellery. The beaded and embellished black pump really stood out and is an edgy accent to her all black ensemble.

Kerry Washington wore Manolo Blahnik BB pumps to the 2015 Film Independent Spirit Awards held in Hollywood. These heels feature black crystal embellishment, pointed-toe and it was paired with her Balenciaga Spring 2015 little black halter dress with sheer sleeves and crystal panels at the hips and Tiffany diamonds.

Miranda Kerr, The supermodel sported hot pink sneaks from her new shoe collaboration with Reebok (reebok.com), toughening up the girly bright hue with leather pants and a Koral chambray shirt.

The 50 year old trendsetter took a break from her usual Manolos with olive green lace-ups that she styled with a fierce leopard print coat. Sarah Jessica Parker is casual chic in her sneakers and we love the look.

Jennifer Lawrence wore gold Prada sandals to the 2015 Producers Guild of America Awards held at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in LA. These stunning heels feature mirrored gold leather, adjustable ankle-strap with large buckle and a covered platform.

Cate Blanchett wore Givenchy Clara platform sandals to the ‘Cinderella’ premiere held during the 2015 Berlinale International Film Festival. These open-toe heels feature black suede and shark-lock fastening. She played her own version of the game of Tetris in the gleaming dress. The pixel-inspired block design was graphic, geometric and glorious, and she balanced it flawlessly with Givenchy ‘Clara’ sandals and tousled blonde waves.

Music duo Tegan and Sara switched it up in menswear-inspired lace-up oxfords. Tegan wore a style by Barbara Bui, while Sara wore Cole Haan oxfords. Menswear inspired footwear is making a comeback just in time for festival season and who doesn’t like a woman in a stylish pair of oxfords?

Cat Deeley When she's not hosting the So You Think You Can Dance, Deeley dresses down in spotless white sneaks, pale skinnies, and a red plaid top.
