Chance to take hot air balloon rides in George Town

Members of the public will have the chance to go on hot air baloon rides when the Penang Hot Air Balloon Fiesta kicks off at Padang Polo here tomorrow.

Penang Global Tourism general manager Ooi Chok Yan told a pre-launch here today that three baloons were being made available and that they would be conducting six flights during the two-day fiesta.

Each balloon can carry up to 60 people. Payment per person per ride is RM25, subject to terms and conditions.

This the first time a hot a balloon fiesta is being held in Penang.

The event is held in conjunction with Visit Penang Year 2015 and is organised in collaboration with the state government and Tourism Malaysia.
